Grant Program

Thanks to the generosity of donors establishing unrestricted and field of interest endowments, the Foundation has a vibrant grant making program. Community agencies are invited to submit grant applications in support of innovative, start-up and capital projects. Twice per year grants are reviewed grants are reviewed by the Foundation's Distribution Committee and are awarded based on an evaluation of creativity, need and community priority.

Since inception, income from Unrestricted Funds has provided approximately $2 million dollars to community projects. In addition, Philanthropic Funds (donor advised) and distributions from Designated and Agency Funds have provided $10 million in support for projects that directly benefit the Jewish community.
